Strategy. Growth. Telecom.

I build and growtech B2B ventures.

I'm Alex Brunet. Twelve years building and scaling B2B ventures across Europe and Asia, as CEO, business developer, and regional director. Today I build carbon projects at Apolownia and advise founders on growth.

About

I build things that scale. For ten years that meant telecom: voice, SMS, the unglamorous plumbing that lets other companies reach people. I ran a telecom-as-a-service company as CEO, opened Asia as regional director, and launched products across Europe. The hardest part of a venture is rarely the technology. It is knowing which problem is worth your time.

That experience now runs two ways. As Chief Revenue Officer of Apolownia I build carbon projects that remove CO2 and restore ecosystems, mangrove restoration mostly. Through Acelandir I advise B2B founders on go-to-market, sales, and growth. The industries look nothing alike. The work is almost identical.

Expertise

  • Strategy

Launching a product, entering a new country, choosing which customers to chase. Mostly this is deciding what not to spend time on.

  • Management

Structuring a team that scales: specialised roles, clear ownership, and an organisation that survives its own growth.

  • Growth

Revenue that compounds instead of spiking. Acquisition, pipeline, and the commercial process underneath both.

  • Tech & Telecom

Building the product, or launching a telecom service: voice, SMS, numbers, portability, and the APIs that make them usable.

Beliefs

  1. 01

Time is the scarcest resource any builder has. Strategy is mostly deciding what not to spend it on.

  2. 02

Growth is a system, not a campaign. If revenue depends on heroics, you have a process problem.

  3. 03

Technology is plumbing. It matters enormously and it is never the point. The point is what it lets people do.

  4. 04

Fighting climate change pays. Not fighting it costs. The economics are not a side argument, they are the argument.

Off the clock

The sea is the constant. I surf, windsurf, kitesurf, and get on a foil whenever the forecast cooperates. It is most of the reason I live where I live.

I grew up moving: four years in Singapore, Barcelona since 2021, French by origin and trilingual by necessity. Off the water there is usually a half-built app or script on my laptop that nobody asked for, and most of it never ships. It keeps me close to the tools instead of only the strategy, and it is where a fair amount of what I know about product actually comes from.
